VENTIZZ Capital Partners closes portfolio transaction with Baader Wertpapierhandelsbank AG.

Ventizz Capital Partners, the Duesseldorf-based private equity firm, announces the closing of the purchase of a technology portfolio between Ventizz Capital Fund II, L.P. ("Ventizz II") and Baader Wertpapierhandelsbank AG, Unterschleißheim/Munich. The portfolio is consisting of interests in SAF Simulation Forecasting Analysis AG, Werbas AG, Smart.IPO AG, Medi-Globe Corp. and SIMI Reality Motions Systems GmbH. In addition selected silent partnership loans are part of the transaction. The transaction value was € 5.1 Mio. Ventizz will proceed to develop the five portfolio companies and will also provide additional expansion capital.
With this portfolio transaction the Ventizz II fund continues to follow the strategy to target later-stage high tech companies with exceptional growth opportunities. The General Partners expect that the Ventizz II portfolio will be expanded to more than ten investments shortly. Ventizz is convinced that the quality of the acquired assets will provide the opportunity to achieve top quartile returns for their investors.
